I installed a set of genunine Mossberg ghost ring sights on my 20" Mossberg 500A.

The problem is that they hit too low. I'm trying to sight it in at 50 yards using Federal Tactical Slugs. It's hitting 6-8" low and the rear sight is adjusted as high as it will go.

I'm putting the tip of the front sight in the center of the ghost ring for aiming. I assume that is correct.

Any ideas guys? Do the slower (reduced recoil) tactical slugs just hit lower? Should I be sighting in at 100 yards instead? Or should I grind down the front sight?

I would try some different loads before I wittled on the front sight. Different brands, full power, low recoil ect. I've never tried low recoil loads so I can't comment on them.
