:x so today i purchased a mossberg 500a pistol grip from a local dealer here in the states, in florida
so im trying to disassemble the shotgun, following the video everything is down correctly, until i get to the trigger housing pin, that will not even move alittle bit. the trigger pin seems to just not want to remove.

If the grip is moved forward the half of the pin moves inside of the shotgun, the other side of the pin does not move. if the grip is fully back of course nothing, but when the grip is in the middle once again does not move at all

this is my first shotgun (after owning rifles) and this is a PITA, i got the shotgun used like i said from a dealer i SHOULD have made them disassemble the gun infront of me but like a retard i did not think of it so any opinions would be nice

do you think its broken? and do you think it can be removed withotu sending it to a gunsmith

I think you're poking on the wrong pin. There is only one pin that holds the trigger group in on a 500, and it's the smaller one with the dimple in it. The larger ones (farther away from the actual trigger) are the two pivots for the elevator. Once the trigger assembly and bolt are removed, you press those pivots in and the elevator folds in like a taco so that you can remove it. When you remove the smaller pin, lift the rear of the assembly out first. The front edge has two fragile tabs that slide into slots that are machined into the receiver. If you're rough with them they'll snap off, and you'll have to replace the trigger assembly. If you DO break it, I believe you can replace it with the trigger assembly from a 590. It's made of metal instead of composite, and should be less likely to break. The whole assembly retails for less than 100 bucks, but since I only paid 150 for my entire shotgun, that's a big chunk of change!

Follow Thomasain's advice on locating the correct pin.
Also, the pistol grip has to first be removed before the trigger housing can come out.
I recall the base of my pistol grip slightly overlapping on top of the rear trigger housing, blocking its removal. I eventually switched it out to a full stock and now the trigger housing can be removed independantly.

I'm not sure if this applies all pistol grip only/pistol grip stocks, but definitely the Mossberg stock pistol grip.

Also read as many threads on here that pertain to the 500 as you can and you will know more about your gun than your dealer probably does.
