The stock length on the Yildiz happens to be perfect for me in shirt sleeves, which did not hurt in getting me to buy one (well, 3 actually). If it was going to be a cold weather gun where I'd use it with a heavy coat I'd actualluy want the length a little shorter, but as my Y guns will be for trap and skeet and sporting clays (when I hit the lottery jackpot) the original length is just right.
Can't wait for spring, when the skeet return from their Central American winter breeding grounds!
Drives me crazy, the White Flyer plant is only about a mile from where I work and no place to shoot clay targets around here this time of year!
