Hi all,

Well after weeks of research and gun shopping and forum posting, I finally shot my very first round of skeet today. I'd only shot once before when I took the beginner's class offered at the range.

I was shooting my brand new Beretta 391 for the very first time, too. I never even had a chance to pattern it, so shooting the first high house target was the first shell I'd ever put through it.

I felt pretty good. I shot 19 out of the 25. The toughest clays for me are the high house birds on stations 3,4, and 5. I think I just have to increase my lead a bit. I guess from here on out it's just practice, practice, and more practice.

Anyway, thanks to everyone on this post who answered all my novice questions (and there are plenty more where those came from.)

Needless to say, I'm hooked :p
