My new to me Kolar

I just wanted to post and show off my new to me Kolar. This will be my second Kolar (still have the first). It was born at the Kolar factory in December 2021. It’s a max lite trap 32”. Plan to use for sporting clays. There is a small part of me that wants to trade up to a premier grade🤭

The wood is beautiful. No need to upgrade. I recently took delivery of a new gun and thought the exact same, although the wood was perfect, I couldn't see the beauty at first.. My 2 Cents..

So from my research and talking to Jeff Mainland at Kolar, the stock dimensions for the max lite adjustable ribs sporting, skeet, and low profile trap guns all are the same. This one has a number 4 stock.

The adjustable rib sporting, skeet, and low profile trap guns (as this one is) all have the same stock and rib/barrel dimensions. The only differences are in barrel length and forends. So if this gun were to have a euro style forend, it would have been sold as a max lite sporting. Check out the FAQ on the Kolar website, it explains it there as well.
