hello there
I am a first season hunter and an in need of a new barrel for my used Mossberg 500 (12 ga.) I have been told that Mossberg switched something in their barrel design recently, and seeing as how my shotgun is from the early 70's, I am unsure of how to proceed. Anybody have any insight, just lay it on me. Thanks! Josh.

PS> The barrel I need is the non-rifled kind, for shot not for slugs.

Your best bet is to give Mossberg a call on this one. Once you find out what you need, let us know and we'll try to point you to the right place to get it.
