I have a double barrel 12 Gauge black powder Damascus barrels, it is marked Stanley Arms Co. I can find no info on this gun, I was told it is 1864 but can find no date, the arrels are marked with a circle with crown above and ELG with a small star, any info would be great :)

Stanley Arms: Registered trade name of the Wiebusch and Hilger Company of New York on firearms they retailed. The ELG* indicates the barrels, and probably the entire shotgun, were manufactured and proof-tested in Belgium. The crown was not part of the mark until 1893 or 94, so your shotgun was made sometime after that.
