Hello,

I would really need some information about this weapon I just bought.

Do you know when this weapon is made?
Can I shoot steel shot with it? lighter steel shot?
What can you tell me?

Thanks in advance
Sebastian

Welcome to SGW ! ! {hs#

I wouldn't use ANY steel shot in it, lest the chokes get ruined.

Victor Sarasqueta was purchased by another entity in 1986, so your Sarasquetta marked gun was most likely made prior to that date

There should be a Spanish date code stamped somewhere into the metal, so you can try comparing the letters/numbers on this chart (from our Spanish Shotguns section)to the markings on your gun:

I have a victor sarasqueta 12 gauge 3EC 26 inch barrels choke cylinder and full, weight 6 lbs even, made in 1970 barrels are quite thin, if push came to shove i might shoot steel shot in the cylinder bore and not give it much thought with small steel shot 3 or 4
