I am just wanting to know what others may think of the NEF single shot Pardner Model SB 20 ga 3" chamber with a mod. choke fixed barrel. This was the first shotgun I ever owned, I got it when I was 15 years old, and still a favorite 7 years later. I have used it for squirrel, quail, and deer hunting. It has fired everything I have put through it, Slugs, Buckshots, turkey shots, and it passed them all. What does everybody else think of this little dandy? It's a great gun for hunting and recreational shooting both. A very good first gun for teaching your children the elements of shooting and hunting.

the NEF 20ga. Pardner was my very first shotgun too, I got it when I was 11. I still use it every year hunting everything from squirrel to deer. My dad always said, and I agree, that it should only take one shot to do the job, so that's how I learned and that's what I do...great guns. they have a very, very accurate handi-rifle too...i was surprised when I shot the NEF .223, and shot a group smaller than my thumb @ 100yds.

Most definatly, one shot should do the trick. It has yet to be broke in to kill a deer, but it has got many squirrels and rabbits. I have many other shotguns now, so it pretty much stays in the cabinet, but I like to use it too shoot blackbirds when they come around in big flocks. I need to break it in at least once in my life time, I may take it out this season.

They're find little guns. Probably killed more game than alot of more expensive guns.

NEF firearms are probably one of the best of cheaper firearms, but will withstand more than alot of more higher name shotguns. I would like to get a 12 ga. Pump or semi. Any suggestions?

These are all good guns. If you could a price range would be helpful in giving suggestions. By the way if I didn't name your favorite gun don't be affended I am only human and there are alot of good guns out there.These where just of the top of my head.
