Usually Beretta's are not that stiff but who knows I've only shot 1 O/U brand new. You could give it a good clean and lube following your owners manual to a tee. Then I would venture a guess that you'll probably have some break in time.
Run out to your local range and wear a bunch of clays out and I bet it breaks right in.
