I'm with KT57. The SX2 is a good gun. It won't be as easy to clean as the I-12 you had, but they are easy. They cycle a wide range of shells.
My buddy has a 3 1/2" model. It's only had one jam since he's had it. It too cycles 1oz loads without any problems.

The only repete problem that I have come across with the SX2 is the firing pin not hitting the primer hard enough.

Worc, your friend probably stores his gun cocked so the hammer spring is probably weakened.

. It was not his gun that had a problem. The light strikes are due to something in the trigger group.
