I'm new to HD shotguns and shotguns in general. I want to purchase a HD shotgun and am contemplating between the Maverick 88 and Mossberg 500. Is there really that much of a difference between the two to justify paying $150 for the 500? Also, I was thinking about the Mossberg 930 but I know there is a cheaper alternative for the HD semi-auto. I saw it in a gunshop a few weeks ago but can't remember the make or model. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
