Hello SW,
I’ve recently come into aBrowning A-bolt 12ga. It’s unfortunately missing the rear sight. I’d like to source a stock rear sight if possible. I’m open to suggestions from more learned members. Please feel feel to share any and all suggestions.
Appreciate your help and time. I’m sure this will be one of many to come up.
Have a good day
Thanks

Welcome aboard. Midwest Gun Works has the parts that make up the rear sight assembly. Don't know where you might find the complete unit already assembled. Have you checked with Browning?

Hello LK,
Appreciate your welcome and the information regarding the sight. XS sights offers a sight that appears compatible. I’m curious if anyone had used it. I have them on a 30 30 and they work well.
Have a good night, Thanks again

Was the site removed when a scope was mounted on the gun? Many guys who bought A Bolts mounted scopes on them to ring as much accuracy out of them as possible.

Hey Noweil,
Yes. The shotgun was scoped and sight lost overtime. It possible the former owner could find it and pass it along. In general my shots are 50yds and below. I’ve read that the original irons are very nice and work great in the woods. Thanks for your input
Have a good day
