I have been try to adjust my MEC for Remington STS 12ga..
The hulls fired length has varied as much as .05".

Should I group the hulls in specific ranges of length?

What change in length should I change the final crimp setting?

i would just set the machine for the shortest hull, this may give you a swirl on the longer tubes but is no problem

I agree with Tex! Not a big problem, just make sure the short hulls fully close so shot doesn't roll out. This isn't like centerfire rifle and handgun cases where length is important.
