The Ohio Supreme Court heard arguments Wednesday on whether
the state's concealed carry ban violates the Ohio Constitution --
as two trial courts and an appeals court have said it does.
If words have meaning, the language of Article 1, Section 4 is
clear: "The people have the right to bear arms for their defense
and security...." with no ifs, ands, buts or militia clauses.
Some 30 organizations and individuals of every political
stripe and viewpoint have filed briefs. Now it's up to the Court
-- whose decision cannot be appealed.
