I'd like to wish all you deer hunters the best of luck this weekend and all the safety in the world.

The weather has turned warmer the past few days and the wind is howling at 45 mph right now, but there is a chance of snow Friday night in the forcast. I had been seeing some good movement before the warm up but the past 3 days most movement is starting right before dark.

Thanks for the thoughts. The deer are really thick this year. I'm hoping to fill two permits, but we'll see what happens. At least there will be fewer being killed by cars. It has been horrible in SE Nebraska and SW Iowa. Deer are all over the highways and were brutal on the crops.I don't understand why deer hunters get such a bad rap when you consider the alternatives for the deer population. But, I won't go into my tirade here. :lol:
