Congratulations Scott that was a nice buck.

I helped Scott clean that thing and have never in 30 years of hunting ever seen a fatter deer. When we got the hide off of him it looked like a steer.

BTW my hands, back and shoulders are a little sore this morning from dragging, hanging and cleaning those deer. Man I'm getting old.
I stuck him with my .270! I haven't tried bow hunting yet.

Yeah, I'm sore this morning two. Working that saw, yanking the deer up in the air, pulling hides off the deer. But, it definitely beats working!!!

Thanks Jeff, there is no way I would have been able to handle that big boy by myself. A doe, yeah, I think so. But, not him.

We had to drag him with the truck back to camp. No way could we have carried him.

Nice Buck Txg45...Are you doing a mount on it...?? ( Shoulder ...Or ...Euorpean Mount..?? )
Actually, going with an antler mount. I took it over to the same guy that did my 11 pt last year. Hooks Taxidermy in Flower Mound, TX.
Scott,
You need to shrink and post that other picture of him.
Even though he's got blood on his mouth it's a better representation of his rack.

Here is a better shot of the antlers. But, it does show blood from his mouth.

Dang Scott that's a lot better than that little doe you got when we went out.
Roger,
Scott and I were just talking about you the other day. You should come join us for a day on the lease and put a doe in the freezer.

You've got my numbers, give me a call
Now that sounds like fun. I haven't hunted at all yet this year, been to busy but things are finally slowing down.
You still have my number?

Hell we work less than 5 blocks from each other.
I'm across the street from the Mansion

Yeah, I've been fortunate. Five shots, five down deer! This was the biggest so far!
