Summer - Early, beat the heat. Sun on the horizon is usually not a problem. And if you don't stay for shoot-offs, you can shoot-and-scoot. If you stay for shoot-offs, it makes for a long day.

Winter - Later in day after it warms and sun has risen a bit.
