We have a new member of Master Class, Skip Woody from Chapel Hill, NC. Skip punched into Master at Deep River Sporting Clays this past weekend by posting a blazing 96 which took HOA at the shoot where 45 people attended! But there is more to the story:

- Skip was a member of the "All-Army Rifle Team" from 1969-72 where, using the "match" M-14, he earned the NRA "high power" rifle designation of Lifetime Master.

- Skip earned his NSCA Master pin in 3 years of shooting...as a Super Veteran!

- All but only one of his punches was earned in 12 ga. events!

He is Master in both Rifle and Sporting Clays... He is officially an "Old Coot" Super Vet... He is also one heck of a nice guy, believe me!

Congratulations, Skip. It's been an impressive journey to watch.

I shot with Skip this past Saturday, as he shot a 96 and punched into M. The course wasn't hard, but that's a good score on any course. He tied for HOA against some very good M class shooters.

He is a pleasure to shoot with, and a trove of shotgun and rifle knowledge.
