I was wondering if the Ports in the Patternmaster chokes caused a significant increase in muzzle blast?

Also, how about flash from unburned powder?

I have not noticed a change in flash or sound when compared with the factory chokes in my 11-87.

Thanks - I got one as a gift and I thought about sending it back to get the Buckshot Model without the ports, but I think I will keep it.

Have you noticed any decrease in recoil or muzzle rise as compared to your factory chokes?
