and I need a recipe that someone has used with any combination of the following components.

Primers:
Win 209
Rem 209 STS
Fed 209A

Wads:
Blue Dusters
Win WAA12
Rem Fig8
Rem TGT12

Powder:
IMR 700-X
Hodgdon Int Clays

These hulls look like they could last some time but I've never reloaded them before. Someone was shooting them at our turkey hunt and I easily picked up 200 of them. :)

They've been a great hull for along time. Lately though I've had a few of them seperate about 1/4" up from the brass after they've been loaded a few times. There's plenty of data avalaible for them. All the powder companies web sites have a ton of info on them. Instead of just takeing some ones recipe and trying it, just go and look up and see what you can find that you like.

A great turkey shoot load in the gold medal is

WW209 Primer
25 grs. Unique
WAF114 wad
1 1/4 oz. of your favorite shot

1340 fps according to Lyman

I realise I'm only using one of your listed components, but my son and I have a lot of fun with this load at our club shoots.

Don't forget Alliant/Hercules data too. I'm not as computer savy as ol' Case or I'd give you a link too, but, do a search and you'll find it. Better yet, go where you buy powder and pick up a booklet. At least where I buy powder you can get the booklets.

Gold metals have a lot of internal volume. I load 1-1/8 oz. #7-1/2 with a CB1100-12 wad (WAA12SL clone) which is designed for a 1 oz. load. My heaviest sporting clays load uses the above shot and wad a Win 209 primer and 22 grains International Clays, about a half grain below the max which only produces 8,900 LUP. This load is from the Hodgdon's web site. http://www.hodgdon.com/

The Federal Gold Medal hull is a 1 piece straight walled hull. It does have more volume than the tapered hulls. Although there are loads listed with the Win and Rem wads I prefer using a wad designed for the straight wall hull. The Win and Rem wads may have a some blow by. Cold weather may increase the possiblity of blow by. 700X and Int'l are coarse powders so powder migration should not be a problem. When I first started reloading, I did have powder migration in a 20 ga Fed hull using Win components and SR7625. They were hunting loads so being bounce around in my vest for couple of weeks did not help. Solved the problem by going to Fed wads.

I am currently using the Fed 209A primer and a Fed 12S3 or its clone wad, with about 20.9 grs of Int'l clays (what my 33 bushing drops with the current keg of Int'l) for a 1 1/8 oz load at +1200 f/s. 20.5 grains is what the manual has for 1200 f/s and the fastest load listed is 22.2 grs for 1255 f/s. Please double check any data at the Hodgdon link Case posted.

I was more looking for what waverider and Swamp Yankee posted. I thought there was something different about these hulls. Thanks for the input.
