Please help ID Sharps & Co.

A friend horse traded for a Sharps & Co. Side by Side. No other markings. Looks like a 12 Ga., in decent condition. It has external Percussion type hammers, but is a centerfire. Any ideas.

Lethal Farce, could you tell everything written on it? like maybe C Sharps and co. or anything else?

No sure couldn't. There did appear to be an owners name crudely engraved on the bottom of the receiver.
