Ok, looking at getting this 12ga, took some pics of it and was wondering if anyone can help me out with some info on this gun?? it looks pretty old and worth a bit, has a lot of engravemnt type patterns etc and apears to be in good nick for its age.

on the side of the barrel it has; Prandelli-Gasperini Gardone V.T <--<<<

On the top of the barrel; Acier Cockerill Extra Fin

You will see in the pics that under the barell it has 2 stars on 1 barell and 1 star on the other...any ideas?? I was told it was made in the 1960,s but I am not sure.

Any info and $$ of what it is worth and is it a good ******, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jas

Gardone is a town in the V.T. (Val Trompia, Trompia Valley) region of Italy. It has long been the center of the Italian gunmaking industry.

So far I have not found any info on either Prandelli or Gasperini.

You can date it from a date code stamped on the action table. The key to the date codes is here http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=73492
