I have an 828U Sport here in UK - have had it about 6 months. List price is here is equivalent to $4415 USD, most dealers have them on at equivalent to $3778 USD and I bought mine (with a lovely bit of wood) for the equivalent of $3406 USD.

It's my wet weather gun when it seems mean to take the 33" Perazzi HPX DSR out and I really like it. I kind of admire Benelli for having the courage to make a dedicated clay buster - handle one and one is left with the positive feeling that the 828U Sport was someone at the factory's pet project. Everything that stopped the original alloy actioned game gun being great for clays has been fixed - a steel action for more mass, a proper trigger group 'breaking a glass rod feel', oh so crisp and fast handling - just wish they made a 32" version.
