They did it, 54% voted in favor of Prop H. It will be appealed in court, if that fails, all San Francisco City and County residents will be required to turn in their handguns by April 1, 2006.

Help them out, before this cancer grows and engulfs your city or county! Join the CalNRA or the NRA now! Help defeat this bill.

Lordy, help those poor fools in San Francisco. They just get dumber every day!!!

Not a one of them has ever read a history book and they have no idea what stupid thing they have just done.

Now, it will cost the state of Kalifornia and the NRA a few million dollars to get this mess reversed!

If you are not an NRA member join now...they will need the money for this fight!

I can't believe that people somehow think disarming themselves will make them safer.

They also voted 60%-40% to keep military recruiters off high school and college campuses. Methinks it's time for SF to slide into the ocean. :x

Not to mention, if I recall correctly, they already have an example of this with Washington DC. They passed a similar ordinance and crime went up (now that everyone is disarmed!).

I can't believe this passed! I feel bad for those law-abiding, gun owning, citizens who just had their guns yanked out of their hands by a bunch of uninformed people

I don't want to sound like the enemy, but this is San Francisco. It's a city full of people known for doing whatever they want with no respect for the consequences of their actions. Let them take away handguns, then when crime goes through the roof they'll come for rifles, shotguns, machetes, knives, bricks, and whatever else can be used to kill another human being. Writing on the wall? Yeah, get out of San Francisco.

If I was going to rob a house I sure would consider going to San Fran to do it. Whatare they gonna do throw a shoe at you.

Shows what you get when you put a bunch of close minded freaks in the same city. (Not stereotyping all of the San Fran pop, just the majority that voted for this stupid law)

Open letter to the handgun owners of San Francisco:

I will make my standard offer of $100 per handgun to anyone that has one for sale. We can negotiate from there but that's my starting point. If you want $1000 for some handgun then I'm not your buyer, but if you have a handgun now, and your city is going to make you dispose of it, then you might as well get something for it.

If my offer insults you (it should - you probably paid 5x to 10x as much for the gun), well, don't blame me. Blame your fellow citizens.

Can you imagine "turning in" your handgun? It would feel like the worst nightmare you ever had. Oh well, just look what a peaceful utopia Washington DC is with their handgun ban? People are so stupid sometimes. I wonder if the NRA was doing TV ads or anything preemtively to try and educate voters. I bet sales of tactical shotguns will increase in San Fran.

Hmmm....I left my heart....and my gun....in San Fransiscooooooooo....

I will pay up to $200 per handgun depending on what it is and the overall condition. I can't afford to offer more but if you have a SW 500 Magnum or SW model 29 or 629 with a 6 inch barrel then I am interested. I am also looking for a stainless Walther PPK in .380 and will consider a PPK/S. I will negotiate on price for these three and am not out to stick it to anyone. I have an FFL on standby.

I suggest the law abiding gun owners of SF evacuate the city. The cost of living there is ridiculous anyway.

I heard that San Francisco was going to be destroyed like New Orleans was, in a violent force of nature. Let's hope it's true and it kills those who are against guns.

Well we better hope this gets turned over. The way things are going, it won't be long before the republicans are out of power and this could lead to more of this happening. It could be like the Clinton era all over again. I made a contribution to the NRA to help them fight this.

Justin Thompson,

Where did you hear that..............Does God speak to you on a one to one basis ???? Or does he send you a letter, the internet maybe.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought he's the only one I know of that controls the forces of nature.

I don't want anyone to die but it would be a better country without SF and SF politicians. Maybe we could send them to Russia, where they can enjoy a socialist democracy like the one they are trying to create in Cali.

If violent crime and home invasion reach the point of DC then we will have yet another shining beacon of idiocy to use against the anti crowd.

I am also looking for a Colt Anaconda, will pay reasonable price for a 6" barrel or longer. Come on San Franciscans! Sell me your collections.

What do you think a gun ban will do? Maybe that is how they will be destroyed. just think if you were a thief and found out that a nearby city just banned handguns what would you do? I would buy a handgun and rob the dumbasses blind! Come on people if you think that banning handguns is going to reduce crime your retarded.

Sorry kinda preaching to the choir here aren't I?

I'm sure we all have someone to send over. The only good thing that will come from the increase in crime is that we will have our point proven for us. :(
