Do I HAVE to use PW fingers in PW presses, I realise that the resistance of the wad going through the carrier allows the fingers to enter the case mouth and open th mouth for the entry of the wad.
What I am asking is , are they the same as MEC and HORNADY, they look the same.
Or are they made from a stronger material to give that resistance??

I Can't see what difference it would make if the wad guide fingers are PW's or someone elses'....as long as you can fit them properly into the PW wad guide carrier. Important thing is that they enter cleanly into the hull with a nice tight cone and prevent the edge of the wad from snagging on the side of the shell as it passes through the fingers and enters the shell. If you can get Mec or Hornady wad guide fingers to fit securely into that PW wad guide carrier I'm sure any of them would work just fine.

I use only PW wad guides.The diameter of the rim from other manufactors is slightly less. If you compare the two side by side you can see the difference.

I've used the same ones in my P/W that I use in my 366 for years. No problems.
