Hello Everyone.

I'm always on the lookout for something a little different in a Mossberg. In these parts, good used Mossy shotguns are a dime a dozen. However, most are usually 12 ga. models with 28" modified plain barrels. Vent rib examples are typically priced not that far from new ones.

The past couple of months have been pretty good for locating a few non-typical (at least locally) examples. If you don't mind, I would like to post a pic. of what I have recently come across.

From Top:

New Haven Mod 600AT 12ga. 28" plain barrel Premier Hunter. Etched on both sides of the receiver with game scenes.

Mod 500A 12 ga. 30 full choke w/vent rib.

Mod 500BK 16 ga. 26" plain barrel w/C-lect choke, no serial #, walnut wood. This one was the subject of a previous post.

I've got a line on what I'm told is a '70's model 500 20 ga. in decent condition at a local shop. I'm going to try and get a look at it this weekend.

Thanks for looking. :)
