Does anyone know any method to make a recoil pad slicker so it wont grab cloth while mounting ?

Usually it's about wearing loose clothing or to long LOP on the gun. But you may want to try talcum powder it.

Greyghost: Low-gun skeet shooters put electricians tape over the top 1/3 of the recoil pad...remember just the top third. I do this and it works quite well...slides right in there...makes a HUGE difference.

Many of the aftermarket pad guys make spray on products to do this. I use Pachmahr Decelerators which are not sticky so I do not run into this problem. I know that kick-eez and possibly sims make a slicker-upper (technical term) for their too-sticky pads.

try a can of plain old armour all.It will slick it riright up.spray it on and let it dry,don't wipe it off. sj
