[Smelly Benelli]

A local sports shop that is going out of the gun business has a lot of bags of 12 gauge Fiocchi wads for what I think is a good price ($6 for 500). The bags have no part number and only say "12 Gauge" and "Reloading information will be available on the Fiocchi website in a few weeks." These bags must be 10+ years old. I looked on the Fiocchi website and they don't have any wads listed. Does anyone know anything about reloading with Fiocchi wads? Claybuster wads can be purchased for ~$12 per 500, so if there is no loading data for the Fiocchi's, they don't seem like they are worth the small savings for the amount of time I would need to experiment with different loads. The Fiocchi wads look something like the Remington figure 8's but only have 1 loop (a figure "O").

For a plastic component, the price is a savings, but for me, I'd pass, because I don't really need them.

They do show up in Hodgdon recipes but....It is rather like the newcomers that get some hand-me-downs, and then go hunting for Recipes to match their parts. That's a bit backwards. Six bucks is what I pay for a couple of Ice Cream cones at Dairy Queen.
