I haven't been able to find a wad suitable for them. They have a base wad that has a ledge on it that stops the wad from seating on the powder charge. Not a good idea! If you have ever disected a S & B shell you would find they use a somewhat bulkyer powder than we generaly have available to us handloaders and they have a somewhat unusual wad that fits thier purposes exactly. Untill we run across different wads and different powder, I'm just going to pitch them. A guy here a while back said he was loading 16 ga shells and getting along just fine. My experience lies with the 12 and 20 ga shells. They aren't worth the hastle! In fact, aren't safe with currently available components!
