I am going to order a 2 round magazine extension for my Remington 870 12ga here is a link to the one that Wilson combat custumer rep suggested it looks kinda short in the pic to me what do you thnk? I've got a Wilson Combat +2 extension on my 870 I bought from Brownells. The quality is excellent.

I think that may be a mess up with the picture, my +2 extension is about 6". that looks more like a end cap adapter allowing the use of a side sling mount in that picture. I could be mistaken, but it is definately not a +2 extension

If you go to the Wilson Combat website, it looks like they they just used the same photo for a couple of different product descriptions.

The one in the picture is a +1 extension.

The 2 shot fits under an 18" barrel, correct?

yes the wilson one is actually shorter than some other extensions. It will not protrude past a true 18 inch bbl. most newer 18 " guns are actually 18.5". I have a 25 yr old wingmaster police that has a short 18 blued bbl and i bought the wilson because I don't like the mag longer than the bbl look.
