Long story short; I'm trying to rejuvenate an abused 12ga 870
Express.

Before I place a WTB ad or order a fore end, does a Wingmaster fore end fit an Express? I'm thinking I might be able to pick up a
rough Wingmaster fore end for less $$. Appearance isn't important for this job, but it must be functional.

Yes, they fit. I have seen decent Express wood sets on eBay for $10.
