I found a Remington 11-48 with a 28” barrel fixed MOD barrel. It shoots great. I was hoping to find a stock set in a youth size or at least a set that is reasonably priced as to cut it down to 12” LOP. So far eBay is the only place to buy, about $400. Any ideas on fair priced options.

Cut it and keep the piece so you can put it back on when he grows into it. At $200 bucks you can't hurt it. Folks do it all the time.
I was letting Boy Scouts shoot my 20 gauge 1148 this weekend. They loved it. They are great shotguns.
