I see that there are various sizes of magazine extension tubes for the Remington autoloading shotguns. How far out do the various tubes extend? IOW, if I've got a +X extension, I'll need a Y" barrel if I want the barrel to be as long as the mag tube. Thanks for any info anyone can offer.

For a rough estimate, add 2-3/4" for each round in adddition to your standard unplugged capacity. On a Benelli, a 7 rd tube matches a 18" barrel, 8" tube matches a 21" barrel, and a 10 round tube matches a 26" barrel. It is o.k. if the barrel is shorter then the tube as the shot column doesn't open to the point where it will hit the barrel.
