Read your post and wondered "What the heck is a Remington 1200?" - I've never heard of one. Tried doing some searches on Google to see what it would find and the only thing that came up was this:

The ol' Remington 1200 hairdryer... :D

patRIOTik, I have checked the Shooter's Bible, and there is no mention of any 1200 model. :?:

I'm sorry to highjack this thread, but are you the same Tom Norton (aka Snorton Norton) who owns a Black 2002 Intrepid R/T? I think I've seen you on the di.net boards?

Ut-ohhh... Ummm, uhhh, well - depends. Am I in any trouble if I answer yes?
In Remington shotguns, it doesn't exist! But now, about that hair dryer..........!
G
it does exist - Marines use them
Guest can you post a picture of it. I thought Marines used at one time or another the Ithaca 37's, Remington 870 Marine and Benelli's M1014's.
maybe he meant winchester 1200, or possibly remington 1100?
Maybe it's a new remington you know 1100, 1187 and now new and improved model 1200, I believe him cause I'm a member now

Chips,
Thanks for reminding me of that post. I believe that was your funniest ever. If you could edit it and put your desciptions back on there for the new guys, they and I would surely appreciate it.

give me a couple minutes, and i'll see what i can do...
I don't know where you experts get your information at, but I own a Remington 1200 shotgun and I am not a marine. It is a very nice 12 ***** semi-automatic shotgun with a blued barrel and frame and a very nicely finished wodden stock and wooden forearm. It holds 5 rounds plus the one in the chamber. Has a manual button safety a modified choke barrel and can pump out 12 ***** lead, slugs, gameshot, buckshot or skeet loads as fast as you can squeeze the trigger or until your shoulder can't take the recoil anymore. My shotgun was purchased by my father back in the late 70's or early 80's. I am not sure exactly when he bought it, but he bought it brand new and it looks as new today as the day he brought it home. He's not with us anylonger, so I am the new proud owner of this fine remington 12 ***** shotgun. I would definitely like to know the current value of this fine shotgun, because they simply do not make gubs the way they used to back in the American Made with quality days.
I also have a 20 ***** "Hercules single shot shotgun with Montgomery Wards Stamp-ed on it" I am sure this was also another fine hunting shotgun made available via the old time Monkey Wards stores, as dad used to call it. Any idea what that jewel is worth? It is not in "new condition" but is in great shape except for a missing front site "bead" that has unscrewed from the barrel and is missing. Other than that it too is a fine single shot 20 *****. Oh and least but not last, I have a 9mm HELWAN Brigadier Egyption made semi-auto pistol just like what the Israeli Defense Forces used to carry before they switched to Glocks. Any one interested in buying one of these or have an idea of their true value, let me know at [email protected] or reply here.
Thanks
Michael

Mike (I'm a people person and I get the feeling I can take the liberty to call you Mike)-
1. You dug up a post from seven years ago.
2. Please post a pic of the Remington 1200. I'd love to see it.
3. They certainly don't make gubs like they used to.
4. I believe your collection is worth $87. I happen to have the equivalent of that exact amount of USD in weapons grade pluturdium that I picked up from a dealer in a place that rhymes with Dorth Porea. Can we arrange a meeting for the exchange?
5. Would you happen to have a recipe for fish and chips?
I have $88.25 worth of unobtanium to trade
I'll go $89 in flight line.
But I want a picture of the 1200 first.
I got park place with a hotel I'll trade.
For my flight line or the Remington shaver?
OBTW it is really a Winchester not a Remington! No picture needed!
