Mike (I'm a people person and I get the feeling I can take the liberty to call you Mike)-
1. You dug up a post from seven years ago.
2. Please post a pic of the Remington 1200. I'd love to see it.
3. They certainly don't make gubs like they used to.
4. I believe your collection is worth $87. I happen to have the equivalent of that exact amount of USD in weapons grade pluturdium that I picked up from a dealer in a place that rhymes with Dorth Porea. Can we arrange a meeting for the exchange?
5. Would you happen to have a recipe for fish and chips?

Dear dmgfromca... just like you and the first guy in this bunch, I have one also. It was given to my Dad for Christmas in 1958 for Christmas. The oddest part of it I find is the incredible range for a 2 3/4" 12ga I've seen. The choke is also different, with the narrowing about half way down the tube and flairs back out again. As With some of the posts, I would really like to know what it's worth..?? It was really expensive back then when my mom and sisters bought it for him. It has become a safe queen but still use it evry other year or so, since it's by far the best 12 ga pheasant gun I own.. I can furnish pics if there's a skeptic, and it is similar to the one in here except it doesn't have anything special other than the model 1200 on the receiver. Wood is pretty and I installed a recoil pad over the existing stock owing to the recoil for multiples like mentioned above. Sorry guys, but someone made these things, and this was sold by a bonifide gun store in Salina, Kansas. Back then Week's was THE gun store in town. Winchester and Remington were GUNS also, and an occasional Stevens.

Welcome to the Basement {hs#

But....helping out folks who posted this all those years ago is probably not going to help out much.
