I would also like to know where I could get some of these. I talked to a guy at Gander Mountain and he said he has never heard of them, but he would look to order some next deer season. Mossberg12
The Buckhammer stabilized slug is the newest member of Remington's family of slugs. I would guess you should be able to find them in any reputable sporting goods store by middle/late summer. Just in time for pre-season target practice!
Finally found some of these at Bass Pro. Didn't have them 3 or 4 weeks ago. Took them to the range and my 870 with Hastings barrel seems to like them; however, didn't ever get a chance to try them out on a deer during the first gun segment here in TN. Hopefully will when deer season reopens on the 20th.
The Gander Mountain here in Mentor Ohio had stacks of them before gun season. In fact after deer gun season those and some lightfeilds were about all they had left. With that big flat nose they should produce devistating wound channels. But that 1 1/4 ounce slug must kick like a mule.
