Generally, regardless of manufacturer the sports loads are created with cheaper components. The hulls, the wads, the shot is the low antimony stuff, even the powder will be of a lesser quality. Considering that you will generally shoot more of the cheap shells, 'cause they tend to pattern not so well, it becomes a wash to buy the better shells.
The STS is a shooting sports load, depending on which one you get, there is sporting clays, handicap, etc. and works well as a bird load.
Think of all the time and effort that you have put into getting to go shoot. The scouting, the lease fees, the honeydo's, the best gun, the best camo, the best boat, etc and yet folks want to scrimp on the final thing that connects them (OR not) with the game. It is such that the companies have come out with 20 rd boxes to fool you into price shopping.
I shoot either AA's, STS, or my reloads which mimic those loads.
