It resembles a Model 1100, sans scrollwork and Walnut stocks. How much are these guns worth? I have been able to find information on the guns themselves, but I have not been able to nail down a dollar value to them. The one I am looking at has a 26" VR fixed Mod. choke bbl. and is in 96-97% condition. Would it be worth $250? Thanks.

The 1100-based Sportsman 12 was only offered in 1985 and 1986. If the fixed choke barrel is original to the gun, it's likely a 1985 model, as Rem-Chokes were introduced the following year. The Sportsman 12 was essentially an "Express" grade 1100. Parts should be interchangeable with period 1100s.

I would think $250 would be a very good price. Standard grade 1100s will run at least $100 more in many parts of the country.
