First, Welcome!

Second, Congratulations!

Remington Serial #’s references are NOT infallible (we’re fortunate to have at least one resident Remington expert (albeit I am sure he’d bristle at that) whose “quote” used to be something much more direct about how some Remington serial # references can be dubious.

Anyhoo, here’s a possible start - and Congratulations, AGAIN!

One question I have for the other, more knowledgeable members is,

Is this a Model 1900?

If so @Carsx , your serial number appears to fall in the 1902 year of Mfr … (but, I’ll defer to particular other members…)

Man, I came across this regarding the different Grades of 1900 and was hoping the stamped letters on your gun were actually a “K E” and not ”K F”

But, looking at your excellent photos I def read that as you do - as an ”F” and not an “E”

Im wondering if the “F” was a particular Grade designation (I.e., May auto safety or something?) but, as another member is quick to point out, the fact Remingtons own website is missing the info could be par for the course …
