I recently found a double barrell shotgun in good condition. It appears to be about 120 years old. Made by Royal Gun Works in Belgium.

Can anyone give me insight into the value of this gun?

Royal Gun Works shotguns were made by Anciens Etablissments Pieper in Belgium. Pieper made guns from 1905 to 1957

Some say Royal gun Works shotguns were trade guns, which would go along with the pricesI saw while searching, retail stores had them for $175 - $200

A lot of trade guns or smaller makers will use British/European monarchy connected words to make them sound more upper class and better quality.
