To keep the Ruger bashing in check... A friend I knew (SMSgt, USAF last I looked) shot a Red Label at skeet. Every time I went to the range, he was there. He shot the heck out of that gun. He had it tubed (Briley, I think) and shot all the sub-gun events as well as 12. He must have tens of thousands of rounds through it.
He never told me of a problem. He wasn't a whiner, but I think I would have been told of that, esp as I asked him about the gun. He liked it.
More weight, less recoil. If it's too heavy shoot something lighter. If that recoils too much exercise your arms, I guess. It's real tough to have it both ways.
