I've been gifted an old (1940's) Savage Arms 755a 12g shotgun. The action is not allowing the shells in to advance into the receiver, so it's a 1 shot for now. I am trying to disassemble it for a good cleaning but I would like to have a schematic so I don't get too far off the reservation in putting it back together. if anyone knows of where i can get a schematic for this model I'd be grateful. Also, the compression rings can be moved/changed to allow for different shells loads. If anyone knows of a guide for that I'd be grateful as well. Thanks!

Numrich Gun Parts (www.gunpartscorp.com) has Savage 755 & 755A schematics online.

You may also be interested in the "Gun Digest Book of Firearms Assembly/Disassembly Part V: Shotguns". There is a 9 page section on the Savage 755 and it's versions.
