Have a Savage Fox w/ extractors. When I open it, the barrels want to spring back towards the closed position just enough that I can’t load shells without pushing/holding the barrels down which is pretty awkward and slow. Anyone have similar issues, is something out of adjustment?

My Fox Sterlingworth has done that since my Grandfather let me start hunting with it 17 years ago. Apparently that’s just how it is??

My L.C. does the same. I had it looked at by a couple good double gun smith's and the outcome has always been the same. Normal.
