My neighbor has a 12 gauge savage ranger pump shot gun made in the1950's resembles a browning style in fair to good condition can anyone tell me anything about it and a rough idea of value thanks

It's probably the model 30 or 30AC, manuf. from 1958-1970. Blue Book values are: 100%-$220-240.00, 98%-$175-200.00, 95%-$155-175.00.

What do you mean by "resembling a Browning in style"? Does it have a "square backed" receiver like a Browning Auto 5? If so, your pump gun may be a "private brand" version of the Stevens 520, which were made before 1950 (I think).
