I have been shooting sporting clays for less then 2 months, and my best score is 81 but usually in the mid 70's. What would be a resonable time frame to start expecting better scores? I would love to get to 90 but I am still along way from there. And is the mid 70's that bad? How long did it take you to get into the better scoring range? Ohh ya 2 month ago was the first time I ever fired a shotgun, but plenty of rifles. So try not to be to brutal on my low scores. :lol

Those arnt bad scores for only having shot shotguns for 2 months. In sporting clays the course can have alot to do with the score. Since course dificulty has alot to do with score, one score could be very good on one course and not so good on another one. It is alot easier to base how good a score in skeet and trap because the targets are always the same.steven
