Busta, if you didn't buy the Montero, check out the new one Mitsu is coming out with in April, bigger motor, more power, better towing... little more spendy but you Mississippi 'shine runners got the cash :D Besides my wife works at that plant ,she says they are pretty nice and she hates everything they build.

Im sure you'd laugh if you saw it..1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 !!Its 18 ft long, 6 ft wide, 2.5 tons of american pride !People either stare or laugh when they see it coming.Got it for $100, its the best car I ever had. Sure my friends call it ugly, but shes got a heart of gold. Smooth ride, lots of power, built like a tank, its like driving a pair of living room sofas !Gas mileage is a reasonable 12- 13 MPG. The trunk has room for all the guns and coolers ya could want. Overall, To quote SSG, "Fantastic!!" Keep dusting the clays, Chad_E

Well, my mode of transportation is not a truck, and has maybe all of 4 inches of clearance, but I love it. It is a 1992 Thunderbird SuperCoupe, comes stock with a 3.8 liter supercharged V-6, cranking out 220 HP and 330 ft/lbs of torque, all being hooked up with posi and Z-rated rubber. In my opinion, nothing beats cruising in the SuperCoupe. :)

Casual Shooter did you restore that 71? My wife restored a 70 hard top for her first car. She also has a 70 conv. in pretty nice shape. JRandol,I bought that car in 1993 when it only had 29,000+ original miles. It's just a few hundred miles from 60,000 now, although it will be the spring or summer before we hit that number. She sits in the garage most of the winter. So to answer your question, no I didn't restore it since it did not require a restoration. I've replaced assorted parts as necessary... especially the suspension pieces and anything made of rubber.

Marland,I looked at the new Mitsu's, but I can't afford new transportation this year. I spent all my funds on new copper tubing for the stills! Besides, everyone knows that if you're gonna run 'shine, you need to have a '32 coupe!! Well, it ain't a '32, but my old '54 Chevy does just fine. Not much to look at, but it'll run like a scalded dog!
