Seriously? SO WHAT? Go shooting, support your local club - if folks like you do not, it may not be there next time. GEEZUS! Why are you skeeters so afraid of a little wind, ESPECIALLY when it is for grins and giggles? Learn to SHOOT. Learn HOW to shoot when it is windy. What are you going to do when you spend a lot of money to attend a major skket shoot and the wind puffs up a little? Say thr Hell with it, I'm going home? The guy who learns how to react to those targets and succeed will be a better hunter in the field and a better competitior on the pad. It is part of the game.
Thank you oneounceload for saying that. Started to say just this and figured it was a waste of time. Not all skeet shooters are like this. I can promise you I am hunter first, skeet shooter second. No wind, rain going to keep me from shooting. I find the wind is a blast to shoot in and the most realistic situation for hunting wild birds.
I have a friend that I shoot with that complains if the wind blows, sun in eyes, target flys wrong or she missed because someone is cracking jokes. I just look at her and say” learn to shoot better”. Normally keeps her quiet for the rest of the round.
