I'm not sure what point the OP was trying to make. I guess it was rather pointless, except for him to express and then defend his preferences. What I got out of his original post was: He decided not to shoot skeet because it was windy, yet, he was bored sitting at home, and, he doesn't like to drive to the skeet range. To which anyone can really only respond: "Ok, so noted."
Other's tried to use this thread to make a point that shooting in windy conditions is good practice and can add enjoyment and extra challenges to an otherwise fairly predictable game. All valid points, regarding, actually shooting.
