I have an A-5 serial # A##### dated 1940-46 I believe. Smooth bore barrel, no choke. Slugs have been shot from this gun with no problems. Am I doing any damage to this gun by doing this. Its a 16 gauge. Also have a 12 gauge, smooth bore, only used with buckshot. Can I shoot slugs through this also. This gun was made in the 70's .
